...A year ago today, I was enjoying my first real dinner at home with DH after spending 3 looooong weeks in the hospital and hour and a half away from where we live. I requested shepherd's pie from my DH...I was craving it and it had been quite a while since I had a nice, good, wholesome meal. I packed myself so full of that stuff, it was so yummy! (I would regret this 10 hours later as I threw up during labor)
I was looking forward to sleeping in my own bed with DH, sleeping in the next morning, and lounging around in bed and taking it easy for the next few days or weeks...or whenever the babies decided to make their appearance.
Boy, was I WRONG! These babies had OTHER plans for mommy, and in 9.5 hours, I would be a mother...
