Mason at 4 Months Old!

I can hardly believe Mason is 4 months old already! He is getting so big and doing so much, it's crazy!

He spit up all over himself in the photo above, but I had to snap a few pictures before changing him LOL

The biggest thing is he cut his first 2 teeth!!! We suspected he may be an early teether with his intense biting and gumming everyone's hands, fingers, toys, etc. and the never ending puddles of drool oozing from his mouth daily. And then came the one terribly sleepless night we had a few nights ago. He was awake every hour, literally. I woke the next morning and told hubs I needed a gallon of coffee...LOL I knew there was NO WAY he was hungry every hour that night, but that was the only thing that got him back to sleep was nursing or a bottle. So I didn't think of teeth since usually, it hurts them to suck when they are cutting teeth...but hubs checked his mouth later that day and sure enough, the teeny tiny very tips of his two two front teeth are cutting through! We can just barely feel them and see them. So exciting!!! I can't believe how early he got teeth though. I thought Connor cut them early at 5 or 6 months, but Mason outdid him!

He is also rolling over both ways and has been for a month or so now. He turns in the direction of our voices when we say his name, and reaches for toys and rattles and things we hold in front of him that he can see, or grabs the toys on his play mat. He babbles almost constantly and has the most adorable smiles and giggles. He still wakes to eat 2 or 3 times a night, but that's okay with me. :-) He prefers sleeping on his side. We put him to sleep at on his back, but almost every time we put him down to bed or for a nap, he ends up rolling to one of his sides and sleeping that way. So adorable.

He's still sleeping in our room, in his pack and play, but will be moving to a crib soon. Probably in the next couple of months.

Mason is still formula fed and nursed, half and half. It's beginning to go more towards formula, but I am slowly becoming okay with that decision. It's difficult, but I'm not beating myself up over it as much as I was. I made it way farther breastfeeding Mason than I ever did with the twins, and I should be happy about that and fine with it.

Connor and Merasia adore Mason. Merasia gets jealous very quickly though, and often. There are times when Mason needs my attention but Merasia wants my attention instead, and to get it, she will hit or kick Mason. Of course I can't ignore her when she does this, but she gets proper punishment. Connor loves to love on Mason constantly. He gets on the floor with him and plays and talks to him and Mason eats it up. He smiles and coos and babbles back at Connor when he does this. It's the sweetest thing to watch. ♥

I just can't believe how fast these first 4 months have gone. I wish I could slow it all down just for a little while.....
