Mia Mariu Cosmetics Review & Giveaway

What can I say? I'm a girly girl at heart. As a stay at home mother, it's rare I have the time or energy to put any makeup on, but there are definitely times where we get a break from the kiddos for a night and head out for dinner or go out dancing, or there are times when Frank stays home while the kids are in bed and let's me have a girls night out, so I cherish those times I can to be a regular girly girl and not just a mother, and I can wear makeup and feel pretty and "done up" for a little while. I was approached by Rebecca from Mia Mariu, a new skin care and makeup line, and asked to work together on a review of some of their products!

For my review, I received the perfecting finish mineral cream foundation, the loose mineral shadow liner in mora, and the loose mineral shadow liner in Aguamarina.

I was in desperate need of new foundation, and what better than to try some that is oil free foundation that also contains Vitamins A, C, and E?! This foundation doesn't leave a mask like effect on my face like some more well known brands do, or like the cheaper brands do. It has a pleasant scent too, which is another plus side. I can't stand putting on any makeup that has a foul smell to it, because then I smell it all day and it bugs the crap out of me! But that's not a problem with Mia Mariu's foundation!

As for the loose powder eye shadows, I absolutely LOVE them!! Of course being that they are loose powder things can get a little messy when applying the make up, but it cleans up easily and is sooooo worth it! I LOVE these colors and it's hard to see in the photos, but they are glittery, which I LOVE!

These eye shadows go on really easily, which is really nice. A lot of times I will get eye shadows and have to put on a ton of coats to even make it noticeable so it's nice to not need a lot of these eye shadows. Another positive is that they stay on all day and don't clump or crease and melt away if it's hot outside. In fact, they are MADE to get wet! You can apply this shadow wet to create a custom color or custom look. 

These powders are made from pure minerals too, so they aren't harsh on your skin or pores.

So far, my first impression of Mia Mariu products is that they are high quality, healthy for our skin, and well worth it and I will definitely be spreading the word!
