LayNGo Activity Mat Review

I'm always looking for new ways to organize the kid's toys or keep them contained in some way and cut down on the mess as much as I can.

Pish Posh Baby asked me to review their new LayNGo Activity Mat and I was SO excited to do so!

A friend of mine reviewed something very similar to this, only a bigger version from a different company, so I was semi familiar with products such as these.

We have lots of those large building blocks in our house. All 3 kids loves to build towers and other things with them, but they get EVERYWHERE! They are ALL over the house, I find them under the table, under the couch, under beds, even in the play kitchen. I cringe every time I hear the kids dump them out on the floor to play with them because picking them up is such a daunting task.

A couple of weeks ago I had put some blocks on this mat on the floor for the kids to play with, to really try this out.

I can fit more blocks on this activity mat than what it looks like here, but you can get the idea at least.

Picking some of these blocks up was much easier with this mat! We have a bag that zips up for a bunch of the blocks, and a bin with locking cover for the other ones, but sometimes even then they are overflowing so having a little extra storage for them is nice. When the kids were done playing with the blocks, we threw as many as we could fit onto the mat, pulled the draw string, and it closed right up, and voila! Everything was picked up and off the floor!

There's even  a loop for hanging on this activity mat, a definite plus side! I can pick up and contain the toys, and then simply hang the bag up for safe keeping and out of the way!

I also used this for some of the boys' play cars the other day.

This activity mat is also GREAT for taking along to restaurants, doctor's offices, or family member's homes where they may not be many toys or kid friendly items. We haven't yet tried this at a restaurant or anywhere but at home, but I look forward to because there are so many times we go out to eat and Mason doesn't have anything to play with. He likes coloring but loses interest fast, while the twins can be easily entertained, much easier than Mason. Being able to bring along some toys to use on this activity mat and be able to transport an store the toys so easily and quickly is a wonderful invention and definitely something that should be on every parent's list of necessary items!

You can purchase this LayNGo Activity Mat from Pish Posh Baby's website!
