New Year, New Fun!

I can't believe 2013 is here already! New Years Eve is never a big deal for us, so I don't consider it a holiday really. In the past we have gone out on New Years Eve and hung out with friends or had a few drinks, but being pregnant and not really caring about it this year anyway, that didn't sound appealing. Hell, we didn't even make it to midnight to "ring in" the new year! We did our everyday and every night routine with the kids and then rented a movie and went to bed at our normal time. 

With the start of the new year, there is so much fun to be had though! The first of which is Connor and Merasia's 4th birthday! It's less than a week away now, and I cannot believe it is here already! I have been taking lots of trips down memory lane, looking through their baby photos, and getting last minute party preparations done, of course. 

After their actual birthday is their birthday party with friends and family, and they are SO excited for that! Merasia got a beautiful new dress for Christmas and has been talking about wearing it to her party every single day since she got it! 

After their birthday party is our big ultrasound! Even though we are not finding out the sex, it's still exciting and fun to get to see our baby on the ultrasound and just have the experience. 

When that is said and done, we are getting a 3D/4D ultrasound done in February, which is even MORE exciting! We have never had one done, but with this being our last pregnancy, we have decided to spend the little extra money and get one done at a special clinic an hour away from where we live.

In March, is our baby's 2nd birthday! I can't believe Mason is going to be 2!! Being the planner that I am, I already have his theme picked out and decorations chosen (Mickey Mouse, of course!), and his cake is chosen. I can't wait to celebrate his birthday though, even though it's sad that my baby is turning 2 and soon, will not be the baby anymore!

And then of course, after all of the birthdays and parties, it will be time for the big arrival of our newest addition in June!! This is probably the most exciting thing happening to our family this year! We are all so very excited to finally meet this baby, and start our life as a family of 6!

June and July will be filled with adjusting to the new baby and getting a routine down with an extra little one in the home, but in August we are off to New Hampshire for our annual trip to Santa's Village! We took all 3 kids last summer and had such an amazing time that we are making it a yearly thing every summer. This year we are staying for the weekend like we did last time, but doing TWO amusement parks instead of just one. We will leave on a Friday, check in to where we will be staying (we are renting a 3 bedroom furnished cabin), do Santa's Village on Saturday, and Six Gun City on Sunday, and then head home Sunday afternoon/evening. Of course it's going to be a little different this year with a 2 month old along for the ride, but it's going to be amazingly fun even still, and Mason will be a little older this year to really enjoy it. He only went on a few rides with us last time, because he was too young for most of them, but this year he will be older and taller, and able to do more, understand more, and really, really enjoy it. Connor and Merasia enjoyed it beyond belief last year, so I can only imagine how much MORE fun they will have this year! I have already told them we are going, and they are SO excited and ask about it alllll of the time! So far, that's all we have set in stone planned for this year/this summer, but I am sure there will be lots more fun to be had that we just don't know about yet!
