Leading Lady Holiday Nursing Collection Review!

I have worked with Leading Lady in the past on reviews and giveaways. It wasn't until receiving a few bras from Leading Lady about a year or so ago that I realized I had been wearing the wrong size for SO long and finally had bras that actually fit correctly and were comfortable.

Now that I am expecting our fourth baby, I was excited to get the chance to review some of the nursing items from Leading Lady!

They recently launched a new holiday nursing collection, and I was given the opportunity to review an item from that new collection. I was BEYOND excited!

From their website:

"Leading Lady is a premiere intimate apparel company dedicated to creating comfortably functional, remarkably affordable, stylish and easy-to-wear bras, camis and sleepwear. A family owned and operated business, Leading Lady has been expertly tailoring nursing and full figure bras for top brands and retailers across North America for more than 70 years. Leading Lady’s comprehensive line of nursing and full figure intimates – including sexy stretch lace wirefree and underwire bras, supportive and seamless sport and yoga bras, and cozy sleep and leisure bras – can be purchased directly on LeadingLady.com.

Leading Lady’s limited edition holiday nursing collection includes bras, camis and chemises with a peek-a-boo red accent, holiday-inspired floral embellishments, playful polka dots, and a soft lavender lace that will melt the heart of every new mom (and dad!).   The collection provides comfort, support and style – the perfect gift to make a new mom feel flirty & feminine and ensure she is party-ready this holiday season."

Of course I wanted a nursing bra, but not knowing what my size will be when my milk comes in after delivery, the safest bet was to go with a nursing cami/tank top.

I chose the Shirred Front Comfort Nursing Cami in the polka dot pattern for my review.

While I can't attest to the functionality of this cami yet, as I cannot officially try it out in action until the baby is born in June, I can say that I already love it! I am a huge polka dot fan, and of course going with darker colors with little kids is always a good idea to hide numerous stains from the joys of being a stay at home mama. ;)

The material this cami is made of is so very soft and I did try it on one so far, and it is very comfy to wear and move around in, unlike the Walmart generic nursing tank tops I had after I had Mason a couple of years ago.

This cami is so stylish that it's not just a night time cami or something to wear around the house, I can wear it out and about to the beach, to the grocery store, to the park, literally anywhere! And I will always be ready to nurse the baby when I need to.

One thing that is difficult for me when nursing is when I wear a nursing bra under a regular t shirt, and need to lift my shirt to get the baby to my breast. The nursing cover I have only covers the front of me and not my entire upper body. I'd rather not have my whole stomach, extra skin, and back/stretch marks seen and put on display in very public places while doing something as natural as nursing. With the cami/tank top I can wear that out daily, and only need to unclip the top to nurse the baby, and no other parts of my body that I am not comfortable with are on display for strangers to see.

Once again, I am a very happy and satisfied Leading Lady customer, and cannot wait to fully try out this cami and Leading Lady's selection of nursing bras once this new little bundle is officially here!
