Connor and Mommy's Date Night

I didn't have to think too hard about what to do with Connor for his special time with mommy. I knew he loved pizza, running around, playing games, and riding rides, so it was a no brainer to decide to take him out to Pizza Putt, a fun family restaurant complete with a large arcade, mini golf course, laser tag, and inside play structure.

We ordered some yummy pizza and breadsticks for dinner, but Connor was DYING to get to the arcade and get his hands on all of the games and rides he saw!

I could barely keep up with him as he ran from room to room, from game to game, collecting tons of tickets from each game he successfully played or beat!

Okay, okay, I admit it...I got in on the fun with some of the games too, but it was hard not to! ;) In the end, Connor scored some cool prizes from all of the tickets he collected throughout the evening, and we had such an awesome time together just the two of us. He is technically the oldest out of all 4 of the children, so it's always so nice when I can have some alone time with him and celebrate his personality and everything that makes him, HIM.

Whoa! I'm surprised Connor managed to turn his head away from those breadsticks. They look heavenly! I at least hope he stayed on his seat for the pizza. Hahaha! I guess the arcade is pretty hard to neglect. Thanks for sharing that, Blake! I hope you get to enjoy more fun days like that. All the best to your family! :)
