As an Influenster, I get several opportunities to text out and share new and exciting products on the market today. I LOVE sharing these new and exciting products with my lovely readers and followers most of all, and I recently got the change to participate in a new Influenster campaign for Neutrogena!
Neutrogena Naturals has recently released new purifying makeup remover cleansing towelettes, and I got the chance to try them out before most of the public!
I don't wear makeup often, but when I do, it's always a chore to wash it off. Regular water doesn't work well for me. It always ends up leaving make up behind or hurting my face and eyes from all the rubbing that has to be done to clean the make up off with just water or soap and water. My skin is already sensitive and highly dry, so this never helps my face look or feel any healthier. I have tried numerous liquid make up removers along with generic brands of other make up remover wipes, but they all seem to leave my skin feeling greasy afterwards, which is also not a great feeling.
I was eager to try these new wipes out, though I was slightly skeptical as well, simply because I had lost hope of finding a make up remover that worked well, left my skin feeling clean, and helped purify it at the same time without much fuss.
I purposefully slept in my make up last night so I could put these to the test this morning. Here's a before shot:
I don't wear a TON of makeup on the rare occasions that I do actually find the time to wear it, so this isn't an awesome before shot, but you can see some of the darkness around the bottoms of my eyes from the eye liner and mascara.
The first thing I noticed about these wipes was the texture. They are thicker than others I have tried, but not overly thick to be bulky or annoying. But most of all, they are SOFT! SO soft! And they don't even feel close to greasy like others I have tried either.
These wipes took the leftover makeup away without any effort, and left my skin feeling and looking smooth and refreshed.
Though they are natural, they do have a fresh scent and not full of chemicals either.
All in all, I was overly satisfied with this new Neutorogena product and will definitely make use of these wipes over any other makeup remover I have tried thus far!
