Teeth and Crawling Progress

I am totally in awe of these beautiful babies and everything new that they are discovering and learning every day. It is the most amazing experience to see them explore their surroundings every single day, and to nurture them to learn and grow in the right direction.

Connor has cut his top two teeth! They broke skin last night. At least that's what I assume. I could feel the very tips of them this morning, and I couldn't yesterday. It's so exciting! When he cut his first two, he had one night where he was up a couple times crying, but for the most part, was fine. This time around, it didn't seem to bother him one bit. He has gone to bed fine and slept normally. He is such a tough little guy!

Merasia is moving all over the place! She gave up on real crawling...I guess she found it too much work. Now she just "army crawls" or "seal crawls" around. It's the funniest thing! Everytime we put her down on the floor, she sees a toy she wants and she goes for it! She gets around SO fast! She is such a cutie pie. ;-)

Merasia sat in the shopping cart for the first time this morning. I finally got a shopping cart cover yesterday and I tried it out today. She loved it! She can sit up better than her brother, so that's why we tried her in it first. When Connor can sit up better, he'll get a turn with it as well. :-) She kept leaning forward and trying to grab my coffee though, lol It was the funniest and cutest thing!

Uh-Oh...I hear somebody awake from their nap! And so the craziness continues... :-)" FlashVars="t1=Our Family&pv1=0&pn1=5&px1=337.55&pf1=1&pv2=0&pn2=22&px2=130.8&pf2=0&pv3=1&pn3=7&px3=283.85&pf3=1&pv4=0&pn4=9&px4=140.8&pf4=0&pv5=1&pn5=3&px5=220.8&pf5=1&pv6=0&pn6=1&px6=102.8&pf6=1&pv7=0&pn7=24&px7=447.8&pf7=1" quality="high" wmode="transparent" width="500" height="230" name="My Family Silhouettes" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="samedomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="" />

Long Overdue Update!

Wow, it has been so long since I have written a new entry! We were without internet for the longest time at home...since around June, I think. It's sooo nice to have it back up and running at home! Here's a little update on all of us!

The twins were 6 months in July...and experienced their first parade! I got them cute little red, white, and blue outfits and my best friend and I took them to our local parade. They slept through some it and when they were awake, didn't seem to care, but I like to think they enjoyed it, ha! They had their 6 month appointment this month too, and their shots. They did fine, as usual. Such good babies! Here are some pictures of them in their 4th of July outfits:

The twins experienced their first time swim at the beginning of this month! I took them to my sister's house and they loooved the pool, and were super cute in their little bathing suits...hehehe! Here is a picture of Merasia in her bathing suit! Sorry it's sideways. :-)

We took the babies on their first trip to the beach this month too. They loved their floaties and the water, and feeling the sand between their toes. Here are some pictures of them from the beach:

Another first this month was the twins' first trip to the playground! They went in the swings for the first time and loved it. We have since taken them back a few more times. :-) Here are a couple photos of them at the park:

The twins made a new friend this month when my best friend had her baby girl. We welcomed Cloey Summer Camley into the world on August 17, 2009 at 1:47 a.m.! I can't wait for her to get older and for the twins to have play dates with her. :-)
It's hard to believe the twins are really 7.5 months old now. They are just so big and doing so much! They are rolling all over the place, getting their hands on anything and everything. Connor grabs everything in sight...and if he can't reach it, he rolls to it or creeps to it. Merasia is actually crawling, so you can imagine what fun we are having chasing her around! It's tons of fun though and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
They are interacting more and more with each other every day. It's adorable. They "talk" to each other and laugh and smile at each other. It's the best. And then...they fight with eachother. LOL If Connor has a toy and Merasia decides she wants it, she will creep, crawl, and roll over to where he is and take it from him...which of course makes him cry! And he does the same thing to her. It's cute but I shouldn't support that...haha
That pretty much covers our last couple of months. I need to get better at keeping this thing updated! I'll try. :-)
With that said, I'm off to bed! Goodnight, everyone!
