Cave Tools BBQ Tools Set Review!

Earlier this summer, I was approached by a member of the team from Cave Tools and asked if I would be interested in partnering with them for a review of some of their products. I love a good review, and love discovering new products and companies, and enjoy the partnership of working with a company to help get their name out there, along with them helping to support my blogging.

For my review, I was sent the BBQ Tools Set to try out and review. We do lots of grilling here during the spring and summer months, and having great tools to use are an essential.

This set included a spatula with a bottle opening included on it, a meat carving fork, and over sized grill tongs. All of these items included large hanging hooks, making them easy to hang on the edge of our grill for easy accessibility and general storage.

All of these products are stainless steel, another quality I absolutely love! They are also dishwasher safe, but also easy to hand clean and always look good as new after being used and cleaned, instead of tarnishing like some grill tools or other cooking utensils have the tendency to do after prolonged use and washing.

These tools are also super easy and comfortable to use. I am not a big griller because I'm just not as good at it as Jeff is, but he tried these tools out numerous times and loved them!

While these grill tools might look like they cost a fortune, that is one of the best parts: they don't! They are very reasonably priced and easily found on Amazon, as well as Cave Tools official website.

And to make it even better, the sooner your purchase, you get an even better deal! Just simply add this code at checkout to save 15% off your total purchase! (FWOBWJHP)

It doesn't get any better than that! While grilling season may be done for now, these tools got lots of great use before, and will no doubt continue their great use as we embark on our many grilling adventures next spring and summer! I love these high quality products and I have no doubt you will as well if you try them!

Apple and Eve VoxBox Review!

Let's face it: juice boxes are basically a kid's best friend. But as a mom of 4 little ones who want to be sure her kiddos are staying as healthy as possible, I don't want to just give them any ol' juice for the sake of shutting them up or for the sake of saving a buck. I have been a loyal customer of Apple and Eve juice boxes for several years now. I love that they are flavors that my children enjoy, and most of all, that they are all natural and 100% juice!

Though I regularly purchase these products already, I was still looking forward to participating in this Influenster campaign for an Apple and Eve VoxBox!

For my VoxBox, I received three small juice boxes of various flavors and one larger bottle of apple juice to try out and review.

It was only a matter of time before the kiddos caught a glimpse of these and immediately asked for them...and how could I say no?!

It was no surprise that they downed these juice boxes in minutes! I have tried some sips of all of the flavors as well, and am a fan myself. When I need something to drink in a quick pinch or I'm running out the door in a frenzy, these come in handy. I pack them for the kids for school as well with their snack, or when we are going on long road trips or for picnics as a family because they are so simple to pack and take along, and I know it's something that won't go to waste!

I think Kendall's favorite is the apple juice, and she herself has gone through half the bottle that we received in this review already!

I have been a very satisfied Apple and Eve customer for a few years, and this review only reinforced to me why I (and why my children!) love Apple and Eve products so much! You cannot go wrong with 100% juice, organic, no artificial flavors, and all natural!

Purell Bundle Review from Shoplet!

With four little ones in public school and daycare, and a busy working mama and step father, it's crucial that we all stay as germ free as possible to avoid any sicknesses we can so as not to miss school or work. Some would call me a hand sanitizer freak....but I can't help myself! I use it ALL the time, and have dozens of bottles of various hand sanitizers kicking around in random places at all times.

When I was approached by Shoplet and asked if I would be interested in a review of their Purell bundle of products they offer, I instantly said yes!

From Shoplet: "Shoplet is the number 1 e-tailer of business and office supplies. We carry an assortment of office supplies, cleaning supplies, medical supplies, and everything in between."

For my review, I received two canisters of Purell hand and face disinfecting wipes, 4 small hand sanitizers and holders, and 2 8 oz. pump bottles of Purell hand sanitizer (not pictured).

The small hand sanitizers are SO handy! I have one on my purse, one on our diaper bag, and one on my set of keys, so I have hand sanitizer no matter where I go!

The hand pump sanitizers aren't pictured in this review because each are being used. I keep one in my van, and Jeff wanted to keep one in his work truck. As a satellite television technician, he goes into some questionable and -- let's face it -- downright disgusting homes or areas. It's no surprise he needs and WANTS to stay germ free after some of the dirty jobs he runs into from time to time! Keeping this bottle in his work truck allows easy access to germ free on the go hand washing. Even though I carry a mini hand sanitizer almost everywhere I go, I still like the idea of having a bottle in my van at all times, especially when I spend so much time there with my work and getting the kiddos here, there, and everywhere!

The Purell hand and face disinfecting wipes are awesome. I am a big fan of Lysol disinfecting wipes for our counter tops and table and other surfaces at home, but until now have just used baby wipes to clean the kiddos hands and faces after meals. I LOVE these wipes! They are SO soft and gentle on their little skin, and clean very, very well, leaving happy babies and a happy mama!

I would definitely continue buying these products after trying them out first hand in this way, and would look to Shoplet for this need, as well as many other various supplies I may need in the future!

Costume Super Center: The Hulk Costume Review!

I have done several reviews and even some giveaways for various costume websites. These reviews have got to be among my kiddo's favorite ones that I participate in because -- clearly -- they get free, cool costumes!

We decided on a Superhero theme this year. If you know me, you know I am fully taking advantage of the years I get to choose my kiddo's costumes. I know one day they won't let me do that, so while I still can, I am soaking it up! I LOVE doing themes with my children! We have done a Cat in the Hat theme, Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan so far and each year we get so many compliments from friends, family, and even complete strangers on our thoughtful costumes and neat themes for my 4 kiddos.

The boys were very much into the Superhero theme this year! Connor and Mason are very much into the Avengers, Transformers, and all things hero and boy related! Costume SuperCenter has so many Avengers costumes to choose from, among many others!

Mason immediately chose The Hulk for his costume! Anybody that knows Mason knows this is very fitting for him...

Mason could not wait to get his costume on when it finally came in! It was difficult to make him sit still long enough to get too many photos of him in it though but I did manage to get some group shots of him and his siblings all in their costumes too!

Is he cute or what?! He absolutely adores this costume! He was upset when he had to take it off but he will get plenty of chances to wear it at upcoming Halloween parties and of course, the main event at the end of the month.

I can't thank Costume Super Center enough for working with me on this review! This costume is easy to use as it comes in all one piece (except for the mask of course!) It's nice that it is all one piece and that it will be fairly warm for Mason, since Vermont Octobers are known to be pretty darn cold! While it is warm enough as it is, we always put pajamas on underneath the kiddos costumes, and with this one, there is plenty of room to do that without hindering the true look and feel of the costume itself.

At first I worried that the mask would be cheaply made, like a lot of monster masks you find in stores but I was wrong! This mask is nice, thick, and comfortable for little Mason, which is the most important factor!

All in all, we are both very satisfied with this costume and greatly looking forward to our Halloween festivities this year!

For all of your Halloween costume needs, head over to Costume Super Center's website and their follow Costume Super Center on Facebook for all the latest news, updates, and deals!

Santa's Village 2015!

We have been making a tradition of going to Santa's Village since the twins were about 3 years old and Mason was a little over a year old. We didn't make it last year because of everything going on and because my ankle was broken, but this year it happened!

We didn't tell the kids we were going this year, so when we pulled into the parking lot and they realized, they were beyond excited! We had Kendall's god parents come along with us, along with their son and a friend's daughter, both of which are the same age as the twins so that was nice for Connor and Merasia.

We had such a fun day riding all of the rides!

One of our favorite things to do here is always feeding the reindeer. They are so friendly and soft, and this year the kids actually weren't afraid to feed them which was nice and exciting for them!

I think the boys favorite ride was, of course, driving the antique cars.

We met Santa, and for the first time NOBODY freaked out, screamed, or cried. Kendall got a little nervous at first but was fine if she was being held so we were able to get a nice photo of all of us with the man of the hour.

It was such a great day and we made so many new memories this year.

Here's to next year! ;)

4th of July Catch Up!

I have been pretty MIA here in the last several months, but in my defense...life had been absolutely insane over here! I was doing well with updating fairly regularly but then life got away from me and, well, so did my blog.

So, let's start from the middle of the summer...4th of July!

We had a fun filled, festive 4th of July this year! It began with the kiddos and I watching the parade in town with our best friends. Jeff had to work the morning of 4th of July so he couldn't join us but we had fun anyway!

After the parade, we went back home and our friends came along too. We had a little cook out for lunch and let all the kiddos play outside for a while before they got in a little nap before the evening festivities began.

When everyone was awake from their nap and well rested, we headed back into town and grabbed some pizza for dinner and just hung out at some of the live music and festivities while we waited for the fireworks to start. It rained off and on, but did stop and hold off just enough for the fireworks to happen, which was nice since the kids were greatly looking forward to that!

After the fireworks, we made our way back home (best friends in tow). We got the very exhausted kiddos into bed for the evening, and then enjoyed a fire, drinks, and grown up time for the rest of the night. It was a fun and relaxing 4th of July this year, and surprisingly not as stressful as I thought it would be or as it has been in past years with getting all the kiddos wherever they needed to be or making sure everyone was nearby and being safe at the parade and in big crowds.

I hope everyone else had an enjoyable 4th of July!
