Curious George, Touch-A-Truck, and a Visit to Daddy's Work!

We have been a very busy little family these past few weeks! With Kendall's arrival, Connor's soccer, Merasia's ballet, the start of the new preschool year for the twins, and back to school for mama, things have been on the fast track but we still manage to find plenty of time for fun and making memories!

A few weeks ago, Curious George was visiting at the local mall about an hour from where we live. We met him last year for the first time, so we definitely wanted to go again. Last year Connor was the only one who would go up and actually meet George, so I was curious (no pun intended...) to see how it went this year.

I was pleasantly surprised! Connor was ALL about meeting him again, as I expected. He kept giving him high fives and saying hi to George. I held Mason and he was a little nervous at first, but then shook his hand and was fine with him, as long as I held him, which was a big step up from last year! Merasia even stood next to him (kind of) for the photo this year, and last year she wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with George, so it was a much better experience this year!

It was also later this day, that Connor's loose tooth finally fell out! The sad part? He swallowed it so he didn't even realize it was gone until I happened to look and realize it was missing! But, the tooth fairy still came and left him $2, on which he used to buy himself his very own ice cream cone the next day with mommy!

That same weekend, we went to a local event down the road from our house. It was called Touch-A-Truck and there were various construction trucks and vehicles, dump trucks, trash trucks, fire trucks, ambulances, cranes, and much much more, all available for the kids to check out, touch, and climb around on. I knew our boys would love, love, love this and Merasia greatly enjoyed it too!

After we had fun and some lunch at Touch a Truck, we decided to pay a visit up to daddy's work at the mountain, and take a gondola ride to the top of the mountain. It was a beautiful day, and we get the rides and other perks for free, so why not? The kids LOVE riding the gondola and seeing where their daddy goes every day, and it's just beautiful!

I am so incredibly thankful for my husband's job. He is the hardest working man I know, and I can never express my thanks enough to him for providing for myself and most of all, our children. I am also so thankful that this job fell into our life when it did, as it has provided endless opportunities for us as a family and for him as a worker. He has moved up so much there in such a short time and loves the place and the people themselves.

Needless to say, we have been quite busy, as you can tell! I have lots of other fun updates for you all, but they will have to wait for now. ;)

Pink Blush Maternity Review & Giveaway!

Even though Kendall is my 4th baby and third pregnancy, I was still in need of some new maternity clothes, most specifically shirts, but could never find something cute enough, fashionable enough, and comfortable enough. When I received the opportunity to review a clothing item from Pink Blush Maternity, I was so excited to finally get a high quality maternity clothing item that I could be happy and satisfied with!

One of the first shirts that caught my eye on their website was the black layered maternity tank top. I was disappointed at first because I didn't think I could get it in my size, but I opted for the next size down, and figured I would just take a chance on it because I loved it so much!

I am SO glad I took a chance on this shirt! As soon as I got it, I knew it was going to love it! To my surprise, it fit fine during my pregnancy, even with being one size smaller than normal for me. It was fashionable, trendy, and comfortable to wear with my big belly and on the hotter days, it kept me nice and cool.

I even wore it on the day I went into early labor with Kendall, the day before she was born!

Though it's hard to tell from the photo, I was in the very early stages of labor, getting contractions checked at the hospital, texting, AND rocking my Pink Blush Maternity tank! I got SO many compliments from the nurses at the hospital that day too, on how nice my shirt was, and was asked where I got it from a handful of times.

Now that Kendall is here, of course I don't have much need for maternity clothes, but still make use of a few of my maternity shirts because they are so comfy and my body isn't quite the same as it was before having kiddos, so wearing loose fitting and comfortable clothing is best sometimes. I wear it regularly still today, and probably will through the winter too, as I am generally hot blooded and I just LOVE. THIS. SHIRT!!

I recently wore it to an outing at our local mall to take the kids to meet Curious George. These are some of the best photos I have of my wearing the shirt. ;)

Have I mentioned how much I love this shirt?!?!

I would definitely recommend Pink Blush Maternity to any friends, family, and even complete strangers looking for high quality, trendy, affordable maternity clothing. They have a huge selection of shirts, pants, dresses, shorts, and nursing wear and there is truly something for everyone!

eShakti Review & Giveaway!

I have worked with eShakti on a review several years ago and was very happy with the shirt I received for review at that time, and the quality of it.

When I was approached and asked to work on another review and giveaway for eShakti recently, I was very excited and happy to do so!

From their website:

"eShakti believes that all women have the right to wear affordable fashion that is made for them and makes them look their absolute best.

eShakti began as a small website offering basic cottons and modestly embellished pieces. As we grew, we were tasked with providing design and fit solutions to meet our customers' needs. Today, we are an international fashion design company making custom clothing. Offering both style and fit customization for women size 0 through 36 is the heart of our business."

I was given the opportunity to choose what I wanted to review. I was still pregnant with Kendall at the time, but chose a yellow and white v-neck striped t shirt. It was a different color than the rest of my wardrobe and different style altogether, so I wanted to give it a shot!

I wore this shirt as soon as I got it, and found that it fit my pregnant belly really well, for a few weeks at least. ;) I had to stop wearing it towards the end of my pregnancy as my belly got too big for the shirt to fully cover it, but I wear it regularly since having Kendall, and still love it. I like the color and light design, and the material it's made of is very light and airy, which is great for the hotter days we have had these past couple of months.

The quality of material of this piece of clothing is just as high quality as the last piece I reviewed from eShakti, so that made me happy that they are consistent in manufacturing their clothing items.

I was nervous about drying this shirt with the rest of the laundry because my clothes ALWAYS end up shrinking. I have hung this shirt to dry ever since I got it, except for once that I forgot about it and dried it with the rest of the clothes, but much to my surprise, it didn't shrink and still fits just like it did before! I even wore it in our newborn photoshoot with Kendall!

Once again, I'm a happy eShakti customer and reviewer!

Purchase it: You can purchase eShakti products at their website!

WIN IT: ONE lucky reader of Mama 2 Multiples is going to WIN a product of their choice from eShakti! To enter, simply fill out the form below and follow the instructions!

Connor and Merasia's First Day of Preschool 2013!

Connor and Merasia had their first day of preschool for this school year yesterday! They are in the same classroom with the same teacher that they had last year, so it's good the are familiar with her and the room and set up. They have one friend in their class that was in their class from last year, but the rest of the kids are new, so they will be making lots of new friends this year, which is so good for them!

They were SO excited to get to wear their new shoes, new clothes, and new backpacks on the first day of school! Little did they know, mommy packed a few surprises in their backpacks for them, that they soon found later that morning. ;)

They had a great first day back and I am SO glad! Their school pictures are next week, and I am loving the alone time on Monday and Tuesday mornings with Mason and Kendall. Mason is loving it too, I can tell! ;)

Soccer, Ballet, Back to School, Loose Teeth, and 3 Months!

We have been a busy little family these past couple of weeks!

For starters, Connor started soccer a couple weeks ago. He did indoor soccer back in March and liked it, so we decided to have him try the outdoor soccer this fall, and he loves that even more and is SO good at it! It's nice being outside too, and there's a ton more kids doing the outdoor soccer than the indoor, so that's nice to see some familiar friends and faces and make new friends too! We didn't get him any soccer gear back in March when he did the indoor but definitely decided to get everything he needed this time around since he is definitely going to be doing it and sticking with it.

Connor has soccer on Wednesday evenings from 6-7, and supposed to have it on Saturdays from 9-10 as well, but he doesn't go every Saturday as it runs into Merasia's ballet class....

Merasia did gymnastics earlier this year. We figured that would be a safe bet to get her semi involved in a dance type environment, as a precious dance class the year before didn't work out too well. After doing gymnastics for 6 months and being a part of the big final dance show with ballet dancers, she was inspired to do ballet again, so we decided to take a chance and sign her up for the ballet 1 class for 4-5 year olds at the same dance academy she did gymnastics with. Her first ballet class was today, and she loved it! I am SO glad! She was born for this type of stuff and with my own personal dance background, I have to say, it makes this mama very proud! In January she will continue ballet, and return to her gymnastics class again, as we feel that is a great outlet for her too and really helps her with strength training and keeping upbeat and active. So, we have soccer Wednesday evenings and ballet Saturday mornings. Both are only an hour though, and are so good for the kids, so we make it work and can sacrifice that little bit of time for something that is so very beneficial to them!

Mason isn't doing any sports yet, but he is having a great time watching Connor play soccer and spending time with daddy and Connor Saturday mornings while mommy takes Merasia to ballet. When he is old enough, we will get him involved in soccer and other sports and activities too, if he wants to! He is doing so good otherwise though. His speech amazes me every day, and the things he learns and knows about just surprise me every minute! He is so big, it's unbelievable!

Kendall is officially 3 months old! I can't believe it has been 3 months since she blessed our family! She is so incredibly amazing and beautiful!

I will update more on a separate post for her, but I will share that we got her ears pierced a few weeks ago! We did Merasia's ears at 2 months old as well. Kendall was a little fussy before her ears were actually pierced just because she didn't want to be messed around with but she got over it very quickly. And besides, it looks ridiculously adorable!

We are getting her 3 month photos done tomorrow. Her newborn photos were done a couple months ago and we just barely got to see all of them. They are WAY cute! Here are some to share:

I can't wait to see how her new photos turn out since she has changed so much and smiles now. I'll be sure to share when we get them back!

On another note, we have some big changes coming this week! Connor and Merasia head back to preschool on Monday. They will be going Mondays and Tuesday mornings again, the same as last year, and have the same teacher as last year. They have 1 friends in their class this year that was in their class last year, and all the rest of the kids are new, so they will be making a lot of new friends! They are so excited to get back to school again. I can't believe that this time next year, they will be off in their first year of KINDERGARTEN! I am looking forward to them having another school experience, but also really looking forward to getting a little extra time alone with Mason. Of course I will have Kendall, but she is still so young that it will still be some great alone time with Mason without his big brother and big sister nagging and bugging him. :)

Another big change this coming week is a new daycare for all of the kids. The three oldest kids have been at a local daycare for about a year now, but certain events have transpired these past few weeks that have caused us to make the decision to pull them from that daycare and place them in a new one. I used to work at the daycare they are moving to, and Mason went there for a little while as a baby, when they didn't have room at the time for the twins. They start there this coming Wednesday. I'm a little nervous just because it's a big change for them and different teachers and kids, but I am sure they will adjust fine and it will be a positive change for all of us. Kendall is even going to be attending daycare one day a week. She will go on Thursdays, so that I can devote that entire day to homework and other school related stuff with all 4 kiddos gone for the day. I'm sad to send her being so little, but I also need to be sure I keep up with school, so this will be the best option for us right now. I'm sure she will be fine!

Another big milestone in our house right now is that Connor has 2 LOOSE TEETH!! We noticed his first one, right in the front on the top, was loose a few nights ago and then tonight we noticed the one right next to it, also rght in the front on the top, is a little loose too. I can't believe we are already at such a big milestone in our little one's lives, but it's really happening! I supposed the Tooth Fairy will be making a visit very soon, and all Connor will want for Christmas are his two front teeth! ;)

It's sad to say that summer has come to an end and fall weather is here, but with that comes a whole lot of other, colder weather fun and memories, so we can't complain, and can't wait!
