Eat Smart Kitchen Scale Review & Giveaway

I have wanted a kitchen scale for sometime now. I do all of the grocery shopping for the house, and I plan our family meals weekly and buy only what we need for that week. This method is cheaper, saves money, and saves time, and gives me something to look forward to each week, as I do enjoy grocery shopping, as crazy as that sounds. I also enjoy putting everything away and getting everything neat and organized, but with larger packages of meat, it can get difficult. If we have a couple meals planned that both involve beef, for example, I get a large family pack of beef, but have never divided it up because I was never 100% sure if I had equal weights to divide it up for each meal, because of the lack of a kitchen scale.

Eat Smart manufactures a variety of scales, such as bathroom scales, kitchen/food scales, and luggage scales.

For my review, I received the EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale.

I recently was finally able to use this scale and really test it out. I had a feeling I was going to love it, and I was right!

A couple weeks ago I had a very large package of hamburg, and 3 meals to plan with it. Two meals required a pound of hamburg and one meal required a pound and a half, so I was able to take a little bit of meat at a time, weigh it on this kitchen scale, and then pack it away in a freezer bag to label and freeze until it was time to use it for that specific meal.

The first thing I noticed and loved about this scale, is how EASY it is to use! There is a button for options to weigh food in pounds, grams, ounces, or kilograms. I stick to pounds because it's just what I know and easier for me, but the options are nice to have as well!

With a push of a button, the scale is on, and then you simply put the meat on the scale, wait for the scale to equal out and tell you the weight, and then take the meat and package it, add more meat, or take some away to get to the weight you need. It really is that simple! I also love that it's digital, so that takes a lot of guess work out of using this scale.

It's so quick and easy to use, and I love quick and easy products, since I am a busy mom of 3 and don't have time to mess around with difficult, elaborate items.

After I was done, I simply took a Clorox wipe to disinfect the scale, shut it off, and put it away.

Another good thing about this scale is that it's so small, so it stores so easily on your counter, or in the cupboard and you still have plenty of room for other things. We don't have a ton of cupboard space and with dishes for 5+ people and sippy cups galore, extra space is a God send. ;)

I was very happy with this scale, and it definitely gets a lot of great use from us now that we have one. My husband has been talking about a kitchen scale to measure meats, etc. for years now, and we just never got around to getting one, but now that we do, he loves it too, and it's definitely a great kitchen tool to have! For all of your scale needs, EatSmart products should be the place you turn!
