Birthday Preparations!

I am still in awe that I am planning a 3rd birthday party. A 3rd birthday party that is happening tomorrow, by the way. I am a mix of emotions. I am excited for all of the preparations we have already done, for the kids to see the house after it's decorated and to see their cake, and to just celebrate with our friends and family. But of course I am sad to see my babies grow another year older and wish I could freeze time or go back to their baby days.

Almost everything is ready for the party. I have the Elmo banner made, I just need to thread it and get it ready to hang. The cake will be made this afternoon, and decorated tonight. The welcome sign with Elmo on it is ready to hang. One present is on it's way in the mail, and will need to be wrapped. A table cloth and plates have been bought and are ready to be set out. Punch needs to be made. Food needs to be bought, along with balloons, last minute gifts, streamers, and extra plates and napkins.

I just can't believe my twins are turning 3. I can't believe Frank and I have survived 3 years with twins! I'm feeling rather nostalgic and can't stop looking back at their baby pictures and remembering what I was doing 3 years ago at this time. It really does go by way too fast.......
