New Year....No Resolutions

I don't bother with New Years Resolutions. I never keep them, so I figure, why bother? We had a pretty uneventful New Years holiday, and that's okay with me. After the hectic Christmas events, it was nice to just sit back and relax and head to be before the new year even officially began.

I am thankful for a lot of last year, but there were some hard times that I am glad are over with. We had some financial hardships earlier in the year and a couple of moves, and just some moments I'd rather forget about. We have found out who our true friends and family are, and a midst all of the hard times and negative moments, there were some pretty amazing ones too.

We celebrated two years of parenting twins. Every year that goes by and we (and the twins) are still alive and well, is an accomplishment in the life of parents of multiples. Well, I suppose that's the case for any parents, but even more so for parents of twins or more.

We also celebrated the birth of sweet baby Mason, which was just an incredible blessing. No words are enough to describe how beautiful and amazing that moment was....the moment I knew I was definitely in labor and Mason for on his way...our amazing labor and delivery....and the first time we laid eyes on his sweet baby face.

I would have to say the end of the year was better than the beginning, but all in all, it was a wonderful year, even with the difficult moments, and we are greatly looking forward to all that this next year has in store for us and our family.
