Connor & Merasia's First Day of Preschool!

Today was the big day! Connor and Merasia's first day of preschool! I'm not sure who was more excited...me or them! I think they won that one though. Mama was more sad and reflecting back on the last 3 years. :)

Merasia was up at 6:30 and wanted to get dressed and put her new shoes on right away!

And then she sat down with her "cell phone" and I had to snap this pic because it was way cute...

Surprisingly, I had to wake Connor up! But when he did wake up enough, he was soo excited for school!

Of course I had to get a picture of both of them all dressed and ready...

Even Mason got in on the fun with his new pants and sneakers! ;)

Next up was coats and backpacks...

They couldn't wait to get in the van and get to school! They kept asking about school and showing Miss Brynn (their teacher) their back packs and other things. Of course I had to snap some photos of them in front of the school...

We went inside and found our coat hooks to hang up our backpacks and coats.

Next up was washing our hands before going into our classroom!

We walked into the classroom and Connor was up to the water table immediately! Merasia asked where he as and then found him and went to play next to him as well. They didn't even care that I was leaving! I had to chase them down and ask them for a hug and a kiss, to which they happily obliged and yelled "Love you mama!" as they continued playing. NO problems leaving them at all which made me a little sad, to be honest.

Mason and I came home for a few minutes and then left for his 18 months appointment, where we found out he weighs 24 lbs., 10 ox. (35th percentile) and is 34 inches tall (90th percentile)!! Holy cow!! He got 3 shots, but didn't even cry through the first two...he just talked and babbled and even smiled! The third one though, he lost it but got over it very quickly and was happy and fine the rest of the morning.

It's almost time to pick up Connor and Merasia, and I can't wait to see them and hear all about their first day of preschool! More to come on that later today... ;)
